Are you passionate about the power of social media? Do you enjoy developing and engaging with online communities?
The Social Media Officer is a key role within the WMG Corporate Marketing Team. The successful candidate will work with internal stakeholders and the wider marketing team to develop and manage our social media content plan, driving impactful and meaningful content in line with our social media strategy to deliver measurable results. They will provide analytics, guidelines and insight to enable us to continuously improve and build our social media channels.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
We are looking for a driven, proactive social media specialist who knows the latest trends to help ensure our content drives engagement with our target audience. You’ll be comfortable working with people across a variety of roles and at all levels, managing multiple campaigns and ensuring the work aligns to our wider marketing strategy and that stakeholder objectives are being met.
The successful candidate will schedule content, monitor, respond to interactions, drive positive sentiment and amplify content to build followers and engagement. They will have excellent planning, communication, organisational and evaluation skills as well as lots of ideas about what content works well online.
The varied nature of this role means the post holder must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to write well, with accuracy and attention to detail is also essential.
