We are seeking a results-driven MBA Recruitment Manager to join our Recruitment and Admissions team and play a pivotal role in growing our MBA cohort with exceptional candidates.

The role

As the MBA Recruitment Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of strategic recruitment plans to attract high-calibre candidates to our AMBA accredited MBA programme. You will work closely with the MBA Director, marketing, recruitment and admissions teams to ensure the programmes visibility and appeal to prospective students.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to meet enrolment targets

  • Identify and engage with prospective students through events, webinars, fairs and one to one consultation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content and campaigns that highlight the unique value of the MBA programme.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the application process, to enrolment.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, ensuring continuous improvement of strategies.
  • Represent the university at events, conferences and networking opportunities 

What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of student recruitment, marketing, sales or business development, preferably within higher education or related field.
  • Experience of contributing to recruitment and marketing strategies
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to gain a strong understanding of the MBA market and the needs of prospective students.
  • Ability to nurture leads and convert prospective candidates. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas. 

Location and working arrangements

This position will be based in our office in Manchester (6 Great Marlborough Street). Our teams currently work on a variable-hybrid basis, which is typically a minimum of two days in the office and three days remote.
