In this role, the successful candidate will provide support, advice, and guidance to researchers to identify sources of funding, nurture opportunities and support the preparation of grant applications to all relevant funders. They will provide training to individuals and groups, regarding funders, funding streams, and requirements to strengthen the quality and potential for success of securing awards.
As the first point of contact for one or more schools the postholder will build and maintain a strong understanding of the research undertaken across the College. Working with colleagues in the College, across the University and externally they will identify and help establish new interdisciplinary partnerships.
The postholder will support internal funding calls, selection processes, and events. They will take the lead on specific initiatives to deliver a Professional Research Support service to the College of Science and Engineering.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and offered on a fixed term basis until 6th November 2025 in the first instance.
