About Us
Student Administration and Academic Affairs (SAAA) plays a pivotal role in supporting the objectives within the University’s strategic framework by providing critical administrative, advisory, and regulatory support services that ensure an excellent student journey.
The student Systems team within SAAA consists of systems experts with in-depth working knowledge of related business processes who facilitate, support and advise on improvements, ensuring they are aligned to strategic and business priorities, objectives are clear and there is cohesion in the activities across IT and business services.
The Role
We have ambitions to maximise the benefits of our systems developments and need an experienced professional to lead on designing and implementing the business architecture of the systems that support management of the student journey.
This is a new role created to enable a more strategic architectural approach to development and organisation of change projects that clearly demonstrate alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities. Working with the Associate Director of Student Systems and the Principal Architect, you will manage and coordinate analysis and modelling of business capabilities to define the required technology and associated processes that effectively support the business goals.
About You
You will already have qualifications, skills and experience in business architecture, including, business analysis, the use of appropriate modelling tools and methodologies, effective process re-design, and strategic alignment. You will have knowledge and understanding of technology and its application in business contexts, proven experience of delivering strategically aligned outcomes and the ability to apply your experience within Higher Education.
You will have a highly professional approach and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and work collaboratively to gather, document and clearly communicate requirements, facilitate discussion and resolve tensions and difficulties as they arise.
