Background
This role sits with the Student Recruitment and Marketing Team within Marketing and External Relations. The team are responsible for delivering City, University of London’s Undergraduate and Postgraduate recruitment strategy via Marketing, UK and International recruitment and Events. This role sits within the Student Recruitment Events team, who are responsible for organising University-wide on-campus and online events such as Open days.
Responsibilities
The post-holder will contribute to City, University of London’s undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment and conversion activities by delivering a programme of online and on-campus events. Main responsibilities include:
Coordinating events: organisation, logistics, stakeholder liaison
Support the Student Ambassadors Scheme: recruiting, training and liaising
Data management: collecting data and maintaining spreadsheets and databases
Communications: working with marketing to promote the events and communicate with attendees
Merchandise, keeping check of stock and budget
Person Specification
The post-holder should have experience in events organisation and understanding of the HE sector and student recruitment cycle. Good organisational, time management, team work and communication skills are essential.
