About The Role
This is a permanent full-time post.
Use your data skills to shape our service, positively impacting Graduate Outcomes and your employability skillset, working closely with service leads in this exciting new role.
This role will improve your knowledge of Careers and Employability, supporting all service sub-teams – Business Support, Employability Skills, Career Boost (GO Wales), Placements & Work-Based Learning, and Business Development & Account Management. You will enhance sub-team services and offers for all associated target markets - students, graduates, graduate recruiters and staff – through the integration of data informed approaches, methodologies and reporting.
This encompasses the development of service dashboards, presenting your analysis and recommendations to service leads, working closely with internal stakeholders such as Alumni, Education Services and Strategic Change, informing key messaging through close collaboration with the Student & Employer Engagement & Communications Officer and Assistant, conducting focus groups, advising on feedback methods, assessing performance against strategic and operational KPIS, as well as being the service’s appointed account manager for Careers and Employability technology/AI (CareerSet, Shortlist.me, Profiling for Success etc.)
We are seeking strong data management, reporting and presenting skills as well as experience in conducting basic research. You must have the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and excellent IT skills. Careers and Employability experience/qualifications are desirable but not essential and Welsh speakers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
