Background
Information Technology (IT) provides technology and digital services to the staff and students, including front line support services, infrastructure, applications and project delivery. We are a department of 173 staff based across our London campus. We provide our staff with the flexibility of hybrid working. This role will be based at Abacus House when working onsite.
Responsibilities
The purpose of the post is to provide proactive, comprehensive and confidential executive support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Deputy CIO, and the rest of the IT Leadership as required. The post holder will ensure effective management of diaries, provide administration support, arrange travel, coordinate internal IT staff communications and events, and support HR activities when required.
Person Specification
We are seeking confident and professional self-starter, who is proactive and able to pre-empt the needs of the CIO, Leadership Team and department. A person who has experience of line managing a small team, is good at building relationships, happy to be the first port of call for administrative and office needs. You will have excellent organisational skills and can improve operational processes within the department.
