Job Description:

Join Elizabeth School of London Limited as an Accounting & Finance Lecturer and be at the forefront of higher education innovation. As a key member of our dynamic team, you'll contribute to the delivery of programs with renowned university partners. The person appointed will join a progressive team at Elizabeth School of London Limited and be involved in the delivery of a range of full-time programs, including Foundation year and full-degree courses in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University, Bath Spa University, St Mary's University Twickenham London, and other partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lectures, seminars, and workshops in various disciplines.
  • Provide high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Higher Education setting.
  • Contribute to the development and continual improvement of courses, coordinating effectively with both staff and students.
  • Contribute to the production of module/unit-specific Scheme of Work.
  • Develop module materials for each of the modules being undertaken.
  • Provide/Deliver/Facilitate subject-specific sessions in line with the Learning Outcomes and syllabuses of modules.
  • Deploy assessments appropriately as set out by the assessment team.
  • Set out measures to understand the learning needs of students on their modules.
  • Support students with timely formative feedback to the extent prescribed by each of the program specifications.
  • Mark and provide summative feedback within the prescribed deadline published by the Assessment Team.
  • Ensure that all expectations of the Programme Specification of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities under which modules are being taught.
  • Produce appropriate module/unit reports.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with students from diverse backgrounds.

Essential Requirements:

  • Master's degree and/or a PhD in the relevant area.
  • Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at HEI level.
  • Strong knowledge of current trends and issues in the Accounting & Finance Sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
  • Work in line with Blackboard / VLEs, MS Teams.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
  • Experience working in the industry of your subject.
