Harper Adams University is renowned and highly influential in the agriculture sector, and you will use your skills and experience to develop confident, capable managers, ready to develop their careers in a wide variety of agribusinesses.
You will teach and support students, which will include delivering lectures and classroom-based sessions, practical workshops, and supervising students in their studies. Prior teaching experience is not necessary, as the university will support you in gaining your teaching qualification. You may be engaged in knowledge exchange activities, consultancy and the delivery of training courses for clients and stakeholders in industry. You may be engaged in academic research activities.
You will have considerable work experience, and though this may be in one particular area of agribusiness you will have a good general knowledge of the wider UK sector, and an awareness of key aspects of international agriculture too. Your depth of professional experience will give you credibility with our students and stakeholders, and your skills and expertise will allow you to contribute to topic areas such as:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent level vocational qualification (UK FHEQ level 6) that equips the post-holder with expertise in agribusiness management.
