Head of Apprenticeships

Based: London/Home

Hours:  Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: 6 months

*This hybrid role can be predominately home based, with attendance to the London office required when needed for training, workshops, meetings and events. Some travel to apprenticeships offsite locations will also be required.

Role Overview:

As Head of Apprenticeships, you will be responsible for the effective implementation and execution of the apprenticeship strategy at LIBF.

You will have operational responsibility for apprenticeship programmes and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and inspire the LIBF Apprenticeships team, and colleagues across the wider organisation
• Lead on business planning and budget setting
• Delivery of LIBF’s apprenticeship strategy
• Develop, maintain and disseminate awareness and knowledge of educational policy, government priorities and industry drivers and change in relation to apprenticeships
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Officer
• Stakeholder Management
• Compliance and Quality Assurance 

Skills, Experience and Qualification: 

• Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience
• Knowledge of regulatory expectations (OfS/ESFA/Ofsted/IfATE)
• Client relationship management experience  
• Proven experience in managing and developing a high performing team
• Experience as nominee or shadow nominee in an Ofsted inspection 
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
