The Role
A full-time post on an open-ended contract with fixed funding until 17/08/2026. The role will support operational and research-related administrative support to the Tobacco and Alcohol Research Group, based in Psychological Science.
The post is potentially available as a job share. A 0 .6FTE position would primarily support the operational aspects of the role and a 0.4 FTE position would support the communication and engagement aspects of the role (details below).
What will you be doing?
You will complete a range of administrative tasks supporting the day-to-day operational needs and research governance of the group. This includes dealing with enquiries, organising meetings and travel arrangements, archiving research documents, managing loans and maintenance of laboratory equipment and consumables, managing calendars, ordering and maintaining financial records. It will also include managing TARG’s website and social media outlets, and managing bookings and maintenance of the TARG’s mobile research van.
You should apply if
You have experience in administrative role(s) with excellent communication skills and ability to take ownership of activity. You must be able to prioritise and manage workload and have experience working within a team.
