About the role

Are you passionate about developing future talent? Do you have excellent organisation skills and solid administrative experience? If so, we have an opportunity that may be for you!

We are seeking a Coordinator to provide vital administrative support to two key talent development initiatives: Apprenticeships, our portfolio of work-based training opportunities funded by the apprenticeship levy; and the Technician Commitment, a varied programme which aims to build greater visibility, recognition and career development for Imperial’s technicians, and sustainability of technical skills. This is a new and varied role and a chance to contribute to exciting projects in a world-leading university.

As our Coordinator - Talent Development, you will plan and coordinate an annual programme of training, events and networking for apprentices and technicians at Imperial. You will support the recruitment and onboarding of new apprentices, providing a professional and approachable service and high quality, timely information about our programmes. You will also play a key role in developing communications that promote and celebrate our offer, to include webpage content, newsletter articles, social media posts and more!

  • IT literacy, including experience of using automated systems

Some knowledge of and/or familiarity with one of the following would be advantageous, but is not essential: apprenticeship programmes, technical staff working in Higher Education, work experience programmes, or other work-based learning schemes.

  • Get access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day 1, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities and a cycle-to-work scheme
  • Interest-free season ticket loan schemes for travel
  • Be part of a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work culture with various staff networks and resources designed to support your personal and professional wellbeing.
