Applications are invited for the position of Senior Graduate Coordinator to manage all aspects of postgraduate administration at the Institute of Criminology. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small and friendly administrative team and a world-leading research Institute.  The position is full-time and the funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance. 

The Institute of Criminology carries out primarily postgraduate teaching, including two full time MPhil Courses, a PhD programme and two part-time MSt courses for senior criminal justice practitioners, as well as a Degree Apprenticeship course which is in its final year. The Senior Graduate Coordinator manages five administrators and is responsible for the smooth running of the graduate teaching programmes at both a strategic and day-to-day level, in close liaison with the Course Directors. 

With experience of a senior administrative role, ideally in an academic environment, the successful candidate will thrive in a varied and fast-moving role and will bring a resilient, pro-active and flexible approach.  Effective communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide variety of situations and remain calm under pressure are a prerequisite for this role.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
