Do you have a positive, people-centered approach with excellent planning, organisational and communication skills? We are looking for an adaptive administrator to co-ordinate the delivery of key elements of our Financial Systems Replacement project.

The Role

As the lead administrative support for the policies and training workstreams, you will have a varied role, coordinating various projects and tasks. As part of a busy team, you will communicate with a wide range of stakeholders organising meetings and events, dealing with bookings, and responding to queries from staff across the University.

Specifically, you will be:

  • Providing project management support
  • Assisting with the development and publishing of guidance and learning materials
  • Researching, collecting, and analysing data
  • Organising events and training sessions
  • Supporting the training team with courses

Your Skills

A HND, HNC, level 4/5 vocational qualification or an equivalent level of practical experience is required. Coupled with an eye for detail and strong reporting and analysis skills, you will ideally have experience in administrative and project roles. Practical skills in the use of online administrative systems and communication tools, including web editing or content management, is essential.

Location

The University is supportive of hybrid working, where some work is undertaken on University premises and some in a remote working environment. The aim of our approach is to enable as many staff as possible to work in a hybrid way if they wish and where their role allows. This arrangement is subject to change and will not form a part of the contractual terms of the role.
