We are seeking to appoint to the role of Senior Governance Officer at the University. Working directly with the University Secretary, the successful candidate will be central to governance services in the University and instrumental in pushing forward best governance and policy practices.
Working as part of a small, dedicated and professional team, you will support the University Secretary and will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team of the University and with the Chair and members of the University Council.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient transaction of University business and ensuring compliance with governance reporting requirements.
You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent professional membership with associated and relevant experience) and have substantial experience of working in a governance role within a regulated environment, at a senior level. This includes the provision of authoritative advice and guidance on relevant processes and procedures and drafting policies and managing processes.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
