The Role

We are looking for a proactive, engaged and detail-orientated Quality and Standards Officer to contribute to the university’s growth in the management and monitoring of new and existing degree courses, in line with the regulatory requirements of the Office for Students. This includes engagement and monitoring of salient aspects of the Quality lifecycle, including academic governance committee work, implementation of the General Academic Regulations; engagement in annual monitoring procedures, course validation/revalidation, collaborative provision, panel and governance report writing, management of external examining, effective maintenance of course documentation and external reviews as applicable.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have demonstrable knowledge of higher education academic quality and standards processes and/or associated course/academic management systems, with a proven track record of developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, through effective communication and the ability to develop their knowledge base in this domain, through an awareness of sector developments.
