This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Staffordshire’s Quality Assurance and Enhancement team as a Quality Manager. You will lead one or more areas of the University’s quality and standards framework (for example course design and approval; course monitoring and review; external examining; collaborative provision; postgraduate research; university committees; and training, advice and guidance), ensuring it meets academic, regulatory and professional body requirements.
As an expert in higher education quality assurance you will develop and continuously enhance the policy and processes relating to your area(s) of responsibility and provide advice, guidance, support and training to staff.
To excel in this role you will have an extensive understanding of the operation and administration of quality assurance within the UK HE Sector (OfS, QAA, Ofsted etc.) and its application in higher education providers. Your experience of delivering change and business improvement initiatives to deadlines, understanding of higher education governance structures and ability to facilitate workshops and events will ensure that you can achieve with impact.
