Education Support Officer

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week): usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Flexible working is possible.

Salary: £25,480 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme

The Education Support Officer will be based within the Postgraduate Studies (PGS) team in our Education and Training division. We work in partnership with University College London (UCL) as the awarding body for our postgraduate programmes.

The Education Support Officer will support PGS operations by undertaking administrative tasks/projects under the direction of the Head of Operations, as well as committee servicing of PGS groups and provision of some secretarial support for the Head of Postgraduate Studies. They will also help aid the wider delivery of programme administration, including delivery of some teaching and learning activities, including supporting processes relating to assessment and feedback, and data entry. Some support for Divisional level activities will also be required such as staff recruitment, minute-taking and other administrative support for the Education and Training Leadership team.

A professional attitude with willingness to help and a positive outlook are required in order to adequately execute the duties outlined in the Job Profile. The successful candidate will benefit from a unique opportunity to work with a charity specialising in child mental health, while supporting the delivery of postgraduate programmes in partnership with a world-renowned, Russell Group university.

Location

Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH). The post-holder will also be expected to support any in-person teaching days as required.
