We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive person to provide administrative support for research applications as part of the Assurance team within the wider Research, Innovation & Impact (RII) Directorate.

About the role

The RII Directorate supports research, innovation and impact activity across the University. The focus of RII is on excellence, assurance and operations. The role of Costing Assurance Administrator - reporting to the Costing Assurance Manager within the Assurance Team - will play a key part of RII’s support for the University’s academic and administrative community.

The role will cover a wide array of vital activities including setting up funding bodies on internal systems, running due diligence checks as appropriate, providing external systems management, completing external funder questionnaires and supporting audits and other quality assurance activities.

About you

We are looking for someone who can confidently communicate both with people at all levels of the organisation and with external parties.  You will be comfortable with numbers and be able to provide a high level of detail and accuracy. Experience of operating or supporting administration systems within a higher education or similar professional environment is required. Excellent organisational and time management skills and a proven ability to manage a diverse workload with competing deadlines will be important.
