We are seeking a Programme Manager to manage all aspects of the Fulbright US Scholar Award programme for US individuals applying for a period of academic research in the UK.

The role will involve managing the awards selection process, co-ordinating and presenting at events for grant recipients throughout the year and providing them with support and information for their temporary relocation to the UK. You will need to develop and present promotional content, generate programme reports and records as well as work closely with the communications team and the other members of the awards team to ensure team objectives are met.

You will have experience of facilitating international/cross cultural exchanges and, if possible, experience of providing support to academics and/or teachers in an education setting. You will need to be able to demonstrate the capability to develop good working relationships both internally and externally and have experience of communicating and inspiring confidence with senior professionals. You should possess excellent communication and time management skills with an acute attention to detail and an ability to work on your own initiative without close supervision. You will be passionate about promoting diversity, inclusion and equity, and be excited about the opportunity to work with and support people from diverse backgrounds.

The US-UK Fulbright Commission is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to advance education, promote civic engagement and develop compassionate leaders through education exchange between the peoples of the US and the UK. With core support from the UK and US governments, the Commission offers prestigious Fulbright awards for postgraduate study and academic research in the US and the UK, as well as a number of other programmes and services for British citizens interested in studying in the UK. Location: Central London office at least 2 days a week, home working the rest of the time. No travel expenses will be paid.
