About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with good interpersonal skills to work with the DIRECT team at the Centre for Bone & Joint Health, Blizard Institute. Working in a dedicated trial team, supporting the Senior Trials Manager and the Trials Manager. This is an interesting and varied role with various tasks in order to meet important study milestones whilst following clinical trial regulations and PCTU processes. We are looking for someone who aspires to excellence, shares our values and will play a crucial role in our on-going achievements.
About You
You will have previous administration experience gained within either a research setting, NHS or in higher education establishment, be a team player, have a strong work ethic and sense of accountability whilst also supporting the team. You will need to have an eye for detail, use your own initiative and be able to work flexibly to tight deadlines in sometimes changing and challenging circumstances. In addition, you will need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills across a wide range of colleagues as you will be part of a busy clinical trials environment. Previous experience of working in the clinical trials environment is desirable but not essential.
About the Institute
The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 360 staff based in four academic Centers and one Public Engagement Centre and supports a combined total of c700 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.
