About the Role
The Cancer Research UK Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU) at QMUL specialises in research to advance cancer prevention, early diagnosis and screening.
We are recruiting a Trial Coordinator to join our team. One of the trials you will be working on is an exciting large-scale national project, BEST4, funded by Cancer Research UK and the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). The overall aim of the BEST4 Trial is to investigate the effectiveness of the Capsule Sponge test in reducing the number of deaths caused by cancer of the oesophagus. The BEST4 screening study will recruit 120,000 participants, of whom 40,000 will receive the Capsule Sponge on mobile units located in 5 UK regions.

You will be a detail-oriented professional looking to provide hands-on coordination support to the management of clinical trials. Previous exposure to clinical trials, including set up, and effective development and implementation of procedures will be a significant asset. Your effective communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary team members and external stakeholders and your keen attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of trial documentation.
