About the Role
The post holder will be joining the Centre for Preventive Neurology at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London to undertake qualitative research in collaboration with and under the supervision of the PI in order to realise the objectives to explore perceptions and attitudes towards Multiple Sclerosis (MS) risk and prevention in two groups: people with MS and their first-degree relatives, who do not have a diagnosis of MS but are have an elevated risk of developing MS in the future.
About You
This post is suited to an individual with a strong background in qualitative research and a PhD, (or close to completion)* in behavioural science, health/medical science or health psychology or similar field. In addition, proven experience of conducting systematic reviews and qualitative research and a good understanding of the research process is essential.

The Centre for Preventive Neurology brings together an expert team to carry out revolutionary new research into dementia, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. Their focus is on academic discipline, research, the translation of research into health strategies and their practical implementation – all dedicated to the reduction of disease and disability.

The post is based in Charterhouse Square. The post is full time, fixed term for 9 months.
