About the Role
Supported by the academic leads (Dr John Ford and Dr Helena Painter), the post holder will be responsible for coordinating and running the GP practice case studies and contributing to other aspects of the quantitative analysis. Specifically, this may include coordinating and maintaining close working partnerships with collaborating GP practices, patient and members of the public and key stakeholders. The post holder will be expected to undertake interviews and focus groups and support the quantitate analysis for this project.
About You
You will be a highly motivated individual with a PhD (or close to completion*) who has a good understanding of health and care inequalities, and experience of undertaking research that is focused on health equity. You will be able to respond effectively to feedback and have excellent interpersonal skills in order to liaise with different groups of stakeholders.
The postholder will also benefit from having worked in a healthcare setting and quantitative analysis of healthcare data.

*PhD candidates who are close to completion and have not yet received their PhD award, will be appointed on a salary of £37,889 - £38,483. On providing a copy of the formal award letter or award certificate, the salary will increase to £41,510.
