About the Role
We are recruiting a Residential Operations Manager for Residential Services. This full-time, permanent role includes a rent-free one-bedroom flat and requires participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota (one week in three), necessitating permanent on-site residence.
The post holder will manage a team of 13, oversee 18 residential buildings across three campuses, and develop Service Level Agreements for Cleaning, Maintenance, and Security. Key responsibilities involve managing accommodation for over 2,200 first-year undergraduates, enhancing the residential experience, and supporting summer school accommodation from June to August.
Reporting to the Residential Services Manager, this role focuses on operational delivery and demands flexibility for a 24/7 service. It includes some weekend work and requires professional collaboration with the Commercial Team. The position is crucial for driving standards and enriching student life.

The successful candidate must have management-level experience in high-volume student accommodation and strong operational expertise. A commitment to customer service and driving the student experience is essential to uphold the university's reputation.
