The postholder will be a member of and contribute to the BRISTT research cluster within the Marketing and CCO Subject Group as well as interdisciplinary research within the School and wider University. BRISTT (Behavioural Research for Inclusivity, Sustainability and Technological Transformation) is engaged in a variety of research projects that probe the profound impacts that consumption and new technology have on society and the environment.
Their research will complement Professor Fraser McLeay’s expertise relating to consumers perceptions of new technologies such as robots in health care, autonomous vehicles, sustainable consumption and branding, and the vision and mission of the School which is to have a “positive impact on working lives, organisations and societies worldwide, fostering socially responsible management practices through world class, innovative research and transformative education”.
There will be opportunities to link into one or more of the School’s research and impact themes such as Pathways to Sustainable Consumption, Production and Finance Technology, Innovation and Place and Enhancing Health & Wellbeing.
