At the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) we pride ourselves on helping the land-based sector find innovative and entrepreneurial solutions to help address global challenges including the climate crisis, food security, and sustainability. Instrumental to this is having the right portfolio of lecturers that complement and work effectively together.
We are therefore seeking ambitious academics with professional experience of business in the land-based sector that are able to drive forward excellence in teaching and scholarship to shape the next generation of business-orientated professionals. Successful applicants will have expertise in one or more of the following business areas: Leadership, Project Management, Economics, Operations Management.
The RAU offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Business, including our CMI accredited BSc (Hons) Business Management, BSc (Hons) Agricultural Business Management, MSc Business Management, and MBA programmes in Food and Agriculture, and Water Management. To support the delivery of these programmes, we are seeking academics that are passionate about the national and global opportunities for business in the land-based sector.
Candidates will have a proven track record in teaching excellence on undergraduate and / or postgraduate business programmes. Those with practical business experience would be particularly welcomed to impart the authentic real-world experience that is highly valued by our students. We therefore also encourage applications from individuals considering a part-time role.
