The Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing role at Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) is key to delivering an excellent student experience while advancing impactful research and fostering inclusivity. Based at Uxbridge, with teaching also required at High Wycombe and Aylesbury campuses, this role encompasses teaching, embedding research within the curriculum, and supporting the Research Excellence Framework (REF) and knowledge exchange activities. Responsibilities include leading inclusive teaching, developing innovative pedagogies, personal tutoring, placement support, academic assessment, and engaging with external organisations to enhance professional practice. The successful applicant must be an active registrant with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and will need to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This role reflects the university’s commitment to academic excellence, inclusivity, and meaningful contributions to the wider community through education and research.
