Bangor University School Health Sciences is offering an exciting opportunity for an aspiring or experienced registered nurse to join our team on a permanent, full time basis. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a range of clinical skills to meet the NMC Future Nurse profession.
Working across the College of Medicine and Health you will be responsible for leading the development, organisation and delivery of innovative approaches to simulated learning and clinical skills for all health programmes. As a registered nurse you will have experience of supporting students in developing skills in clinical practice. Available at Grade 7, this post provides an opportunity for aspiring or experienced candidates to be part of an enthusiastic team to take our programmes forward in and support students’ learning for clinical skills.
Candidates will have current professional registration (on the appropriate part of the register) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Candidates will also possess a degree in a relevant subject area.
The School of Health Sciences is an interprofessional school which sits within the College of Medicine and Health Sciences and provides medical, health and care education and research at Bangor University. The School works in partnership with health, social and educational care providers through well established links to enable a total clinical and academic experience to be provided for students. The School offers a career-spanning portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and short courses for health and care and allied professionals. The School comprises over 200 staff, delivering to more than 1300 students from across the health and medical professions. The School’s portfolio of professional programmes continues to expand, with new programmes in Dental Hygiene and Pharmacology commencing soon, with a programme in pharmacy currently in development.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
