This is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Health Sciences at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, and contribute to high-quality and transformative educational experiences for healthcare students in an innovative and high-tech learning environment. You will be part of a lively and committed team delivering and growing our portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of Podiatry. In addition, where relevant, you will have an opportunity to contribute to programmes across the Division, School and University.
The School delivers a breadth of professional programmes such as Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Dietetics, Therapeutic and Diagnostic Radiography, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapies, Speech and Hearing Science, Nursing and Paramedic Science. As such, we are in a unique position to develop opportunities for multi-professional and interdisciplinary learning, teaching and research.
To apply for this role, you must be registered with the HCPC as a Podiatrist. You must have a post-registration, postgraduate degree (or be working towards it) in an area relevant to podiatry. We are looking for a podiatrist with comprehensive knowledge of contemporary practice and expertise in the practice area of managing high-risk foot conditions including diabetic foot, neuropathic and vascular diseases, and wound management would be advantageous. You must also have recent experience of undertaking student assessment and facilitating learning and teaching in physiotherapy healthcare practice or a Higher Education context.
