Annual Leave: 30 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

We’re looking for a talented and experienced CRM leader who will drive significant improvements to audience engagement and customer experience through the adoption of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to ensure Herts becomes sector-leading in its approach.
Main duties and responsibilities
The postholder will lead on the design, development, and delivery of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud roadmap to move the University forward in delivering a sector-leading approach to audience engagement. You will inspire and engage a range of stakeholders in the department and across the wider University to understand the use of CRM and data across each team, existing capabilities and future requirements and how we can harness Salesforce Marketing Cloud to optimise our customer journeys to drive student recruitment and wider customer and stakeholder engagement.
A key part of the role will be to lead the development of a CRM strategy and define the longer-term requirements of the department and beyond, using marketing automation to transform our marketing efforts.
Skills and experience required
The Head of CRM is expected to have significant leadership experience and proven experience operating at a strategic level.
The postholder will have proven experience in developing CRM strategies and CRM roadmaps to meet the needs of the business, always ensuring ROI. They will have extensive experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and external partners to deliver and develop products and services, and demonstrable experience in managing CRM systems in an education setting, such as Salesforce, Dynamics, Hobsons, etc.
Qualifications required
The postholder should be educated to a minimum of degree level or equivalent with substantial and demonstrable CRM experience in the higher education sector. Direct experience of Salesforce is desirable.
