An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Registry team at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). The RVC is the UK's largest and longest-established independent vet school and is a Member Institution of the University of London.  The RVC offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing and biological sciences and CPD programmes in veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing.

This maternity cover position will, as the Assistant Registrar for Examinations and Assessment, lead and manage examinations and assessments within Registry’s remit. The post holder will maintain RVC assessment and award regulations and procedures relating to assessment and associated quality assurance processes and ensure pass lists are created and published to internal and external stakeholders where appropriate.  The post holder will also ensure the Examination and Assessment section provides high-level support to Boards of Examiners, ensuring examination officers are well versed and confident in applying the appropriate RVC, professional and national regulations and frameworks. 

The Assistant Registrar for Examinations and Assessment will ensure that operational as well as management support can be provided to team members during peak times and at times of absence.

The successful post holder will have extensive experience of examination and assessment administration, an understanding of formulating examination regulations, be experienced in applying appropriate policy and process to circumstance and have experience of motivating a team to achieve results.

This role will be based at either the Camden or Hawkshead campus and is offered on a full-time basis, 35 hours per week.
