About the role
This role supports existing and future investments in automation by facilitating the evolution of scholarship in automation-coordinated design. You will work to identify emerging technologies and research opportunities in robotics. This role will see you utilise your exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary teams across UCL, including robotics engineers, architects, and material scientists, again with foster innovation at the heart of what we do. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, forward-thinking and collaborative team and continue to build on the success of our discipline.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about the role robotics plays in the future of our built environment and excited to lead a small team of technicians in the management and strategic development of a uniquely broad state-of-the-art range of robotic assets and processes in architecture. We are looking for extensive experience in all technical aspects of robotics applications such as development in robotic manufacturing processes, integration, electromechanical problem solving, programming, procurement, health and safety management and scheduled maintenance.
