Faculty / Directorate
The Directorate offers full-service marketing and communications support to the university, with this role sitting within the Future Students Team, which has a front facing, customer focussed remit, comprising Admissions, Enquiries and School and College Engagement.
Role
The School and College Recruitment Assistant role is quite possibly the most varied role within our entire team. Working closely with our wider School Engagement Team you will attend career fairs and options evenings, deliver large group presentations, smaller, classroom based workshops and organise visits for your schools to the DMU campus. Communication and organisation will be amongst your key skills alongside your natural flexibility, positivity and ability to work with strong independence and as part of our wider Future Students Team. A recruitment focussed mindset will stand you in good stead to achieve individual and team targets and to collaborate with internal colleagues, working towards DMU’s wider student recruitment objectives. Alongside, the student facing element of the role, you will also provide administrative and organisation support for the team, including managing event logistics and supporting wider recruitment projects.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a recruitment mindset, strong relationship management skills, excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to work independently using their own initiative. A satisfactory enhanced DBS check is essential for this role.
