Junior Legal Counsel

An exciting opportunity for a commercial lawyer to join the in-house legal team at the University of Warwick. You will be a key part of our busy contracts team, managing a diverse portfolio of contract and data protection matters and projects with a wide-ranging value and risk profile. You will work closely with Academic and Professional Services colleagues from across the institution to enable us to meet our strategic aims as one of the country’s foremost Higher Education institutions. You will have the opportunity to work with a friendly, supportive and collaborative team that recognises and celebrates each other’s personal and professional achievements. Work-life balance is valued, with flexible working available. The team also operate a hybrid model of two in-office days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), with pro rata options for part-time roles.

A sound knowledge of contracts law, data protection and strong negotiating and drafting skills are essential.

This is the ideal opportunity for a solicitor with 0-2 years PQE who is looking to work in-house.

This position is offered on a full or part-time basis.
