NIHR ARC North Thames works with its regional university, NHS, local authority, patient, charity and industry partners to identify key health and care problems, and designs innovative applied research in response. The Research Programme Support Officer will be part of the core operational team of the ARC based at UCL.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong administrative background, who has an understanding of the research environment and administrative systems. The research programme support officer will assist the core operational team with the wide range of activities and initiatives underway in the ARC.
This is a part-time (0.6FTE) fixed term role until 31 March 2026.
About you
You will have a strong administrative background with an understanding of Higher Education Institutions systems and procedures. You will be educated to A-level standard, or equivalent with proven administrative experience including organising meetings, taking notes, writing minutes, undertaking PA-type support and digital communications. Experience of working on academic research grants and the related administrative systems would be beneficial.
