The role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to play a key supporting role within the Head of College Office at London College of Fashion (LCF).

The Head of College Office is responsible for both the leadership, direction, and day-to-day operations of the college and for delivering on a large cross-university thematic portfolio. This role offers the chance to help balance these varied responsibilities and priorities.

As Executive Assistant to the Head of College Office, you’ll provide professional secretarial and administrative support to the Head of College/Pro Vice-Chancellor and the Director of College Administration.

You'll be responsible for managing their day-to-day diaries, overseeing office operations, systems, and processes, taking a proactive role in providing support to priority projects and organising internal and external stakeholder events.

About you
We're looking for a confident, experienced Executive Assistant, who is skilled at organising complex diaries and will enjoy working within a purpose-led educational organisation that is agile, mission and results-driven and community oriented. You'll be able to exercise good judgment across a variety of situations, and will possess strong communication, administrative, and organisational skills, as well as the ability to balance multiple competing priorities.

The role will require you to manage key strategic relationships on behalf of the Pro Vice Chancellor/Head of College and Director of College Administration, so you'll need to be a confident communicator; somebody who can build and maintain positive relationships and always acts as an ambassador for the office, who is capable of managing expectations, communicating sensitive messages with diplomacy and tact, and dealing with confidential enquiries.

You'll be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, juggling a multitude of tasks which will utilise your skills and experience in several areas including servicing committees, minute-taking, project administration, and event coordination. You must be a forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.

Experience of using online tools for diary management is essential and you should be proficient in the use of the MS Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Excel.
