Join our team in the Student Opportunity Hub in the heart of campus and provide a welcoming help desk service and administrative support for the Hub, handling enquiries and requests for information from students, graduates, external enquirers and University staff, diagnosing client need, delivering an information advice service and referring appropriately to Student Opportunity resources and services.
Student Opportunity offers students a broad range of rich co-curricular development opportunities. Through an extensive offer of digital and in-person services, including events, workshops, one-to-one appointments, bursary support, volunteering and internships, we help students develop a global perspective, become culturally aware, and have confidence in achieving their personal vision of career success.
Hours required:
Due to the nature of the face-to-face service we offer, the business needs require that this role is in person for the full 25 hours with the hours spread over 5 days Monday to Friday. This rota is reviewed annually but the current pattern is as below:
