The post holder will provide a comprehensive and professional administrative and financial support for academic staff running major clinical trials:
Dr. Jon Silversides, Chief Investigator for the SINFONIA trial, a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded project ; and Project Lead for SepTIC-FLUID, an National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded clinical trial comparing two fluid strategies in critically ill patients with sepsis.
Professor Cecilia O’Kane undertakes multicentric collaborative research at a national and international level, including translational basic science-clinical studies and early phase clinical trials.
The post holder will be based in the administrative team in the WWIEM and will provide a high-level, comprehensive and professional administrative service to support several Project Teams.
This will be a part-time post of 18.5 hours per week. The researchers would have a preference to spread hours over 5 days per week ie mornings or afternoons, but can be flexible about start and finish times to suit the successful individual.
