We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and person-centred team member to join the Lydia Osteoporosis Project team, which sits within the division of Nursing and Paramedic Science at QMU. Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified registered nurses and allied health professionals who possess practice, research and education experience.  You will hold a masters degree or be working towards this and have evidence of active continuing professional development.  You will possess interpersonal skills that will enable you to display leadership and innovation and you will work with the explicit shared values of colleagues, students and our national and international networks.

We are seeking applicants who have a particular interest in developing and collaborating with internal and external networks to increase awareness of osteoporosis for:

  • health care professionals in primary care and care homes.
  • undergraduate and postgraduate health and social sciences curricula.
  • the local community.

In addition, we are looking for an applicant who can continue to develop and support person-centred research in the field of osteoporosis.

This will involve both on campus, online and outreach teaching and development work. The hours are 21 hrs per week and can be flexible to accommodate the remit of the role.
