About Us

We are a leading provider of pre-registration nursing education in the north-west, with students in all four fields of nursing across three campuses (Preston, Burnley, and Westlakes). We offer a variety of undergraduate courses, including nursing associate, midwifery, assistant practitioner, and health and social care. Our post-graduate offerings are also expanding, with full programmes and CPD modules. As a Nursing Lecturer, you will join a supportive team of healthcare academics committed to delivering excellent educational experiences. You will be encouraged to think creatively and contribute to healthcare education development. You'll receive mentorship and clear management, and have opportunities to earn teaching qualifications and take on various academic roles.

About you

We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Learning Disabilities Nursing. You must be a registered Nurse (LD) and hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field. You will provide high-quality learning experiences to students and possess knowledge of contemporary Nursing in the UK, backed by clinical experience in Learning Disabilities Nursing. You'll be passionate about student success and committed to lifelong learning. You should be skilled and adaptable, ready to take on various academic roles like teaching, research, personal tutoring, assessment, and module leadership. Personal and professional development and a passion for new challenges are essential.
