Deputy School Manager

The role

The School of Psychological Science are looking for a highly proficient individual to undertake the role of Deputy School Manager.

What will you be doing?

Working closely with the School Manager and Senior Management team, the role holder will play a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and review of administrative and operational policies, procedures and systems within the School.

You will line manage the school executive support team who work closely in the delivery of school operational and strategic activities. You will also have a supporting role for other members of professional services staff working across the school.

This position will also take a key role in leading some of the school communications, including management of the schools website and shared filestores (sharepoint). You will also play an active role in supporting school strategic priorities such as the Equity Diversity and Inclusion committee where you will work closely with the academic lead on delivering core objectives. You will also work alongside the school senior management team in assimilating data to help them make informed decisions which help support the delivery of the schools strategic objectives.

You will need to have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with a flexible, proactive and supportive approach to work and the ability to quickly grasp and understand new systems and processes.
