About the Role
This role is to provide administrative support to the Joint Research Management Office (JRMO) to operate efficiently and effectively within the two organizations- Queen Mary University of London and Barts Health NHS Trust. The emphasis will be on managing the office and supporting the Head of JRMO Departments.
About You
You will have experience in a secretarial or similar role, with a proven ability to handle a variety of IT packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. You are adept at managing confidential and sensitive data, ensuring the appropriate maintenance and storage of records, and have experience in minute-taking and recording. You should also be capable of working autonomously, with a solid understanding of policies and procedures for handling both personal and organisational confidential data. Your knowledge of filing and data systems, including records management and archival processes should be strong. You should also possess excellent planning and organisational skills, advanced keyboard proficiency, and the ability to produce reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence. You should also have excellent discretion, confidentiality, and diplomacy skills, coupled with strong written and oral communication abilities, make you a trusted professional in your field.

The Joint Research Management Office (JRMO) supports researchers across Queen Mary, University of London and Bart’s Health NHS Trust.
