The role:

To deliver high quality training and assessing to learners within the housing sector. Programmes may include Work Based Learning, NVQs, European Funded projects, bespoke programmes and workshops.

To have current knowledge of the sector/industry and undertake duties to a high standard at all times.

To provide a professional approach when working with learners and employers, creating a positive and high quality learning environment to enable all learners to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver assessments across a range of courses ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate to the syllabus content and awarding body standards.
  • Plan and deliver a minimum of 12 hours per week of training to learners as required.
  • Ensure training and assessment strategies and materials are planned and accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners, and that cross-cutting themes (for example, ESDGC, Welsh Ethos, ES, Employability) are embedded and assessed effectively.
  • Assess and monitor learner progress, including the setting of targets, maintaining records of work and achievement.

About you:

  • Proven track record of working and teaching within the housing sector.
  • Commercial knowledge, experience and understanding of industry, including training needs.
  • Level 4 qualification or equivalent in relevant sector or be willing to work towards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Cynllunio, paratoi ac addysgu amrywiaeth o raglenni gan sicrhau bod cynlluniau/cofnodion gwaith ac amserlenni aseiniadau yn briodol i gynnwys y maes llafur a safonau’r corff dyfarnu.
  • Cynllunio a darparu 12 awr yr wythnos o hyfforddiant i ddysgwyr lle bo angen (pro rata ar gyfer staff ffracsiynol).
     
  • Sicrhau bod strategaethau addysgu a dysgu a deunyddiau dysgu’n cael eu cynllunio a gwneud yn siwr eu bod yn hygyrch, er mwyn ateb anghenion amrywiol yr holl ddysgwyr. Sicrhau bod mentrau trawsbynciol (megis ADCDF, Ethos Cymreig, ES,
  • Cyflogadwyedd) yn cael eu hymgorffori a’u hasesu’n effeithiol.
  • Asesu a monitro cynnydd dysgwyr, gan gynnwys gosod targedau, cadw a chynnal cofnodion gwaith a chyflawniad.
