The role:

The purpose of this role is to provide digital, analytical data and administrative support to the Work Based Learning Central Team including Learner Services and Quality, Compliance, Recruitment, Employer engagement in addition to the Senior Management Team as and when required.

To provide a comprehensive and efficient service supporting the accurate record keeping and data analytical requirements of the Work Based Learning Department in full compliance with the WBL Welsh and English contract specifications as well as departmental and College procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and develop all of our WBL digital platforms with a view to ensure the SMART use of data at all times.
  • Act as the key internal link to maintain our WBL platforms.
  • Act as the key link for external funding data partners i.e. Maytas, LLWR and ESFA
  • Develop the use of Power BI real time analysis to ensure more efficient end user planning and decision making.
  • Provide digital support to managers and staff in relation to the use of financial profiles and contract performance.

About you:

  • Level 4 qualification or equivalent in relevant area i.e. Data Analytics / Business Administration / IT
  • Level 2 (Grade A-C) or equivalent Maths and English qualification
  • Proven track record of working within an administrative or  analytical role.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and experience of working with sensitive information and applying information security best practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
