Lecturer in Aerospace Dynamics and Control

The role

The CADE School is looking to enhance its teaching capability in a core aspect of aerospace engineering – dynamics and control.  We are looking for someone who can bring research or industrial experience of an aspect of aerospace dynamics and control and can teach students both about the general principles of this area, and their specialist expertise.

The successful candidate will join a small team of academic colleagues delivering this teaching material. CADE is a growing School, internationally recognised for its research and for its teaching, where we aim to provide a balanced mix of theory, practice and design skills, providing up to date and relevant education through provision of stimulating and authentic learning environments.

What will you be doing?

• Develop learning content in a variety of formats to support the control and dynamics theme running through our undergraduate programmes.
• Be responsible for the delivery and coordination of the relevant units to make sure that all students receive an excellent learning experience.
• Work with academic and technical staff to enhance our practical and design teaching activities.
• Take responsibility of maintaining and enhancing academic standards in the relevant units to ensure that academic outcomes are reflective of student learning.
• Review and reflect on the feedback received for the relevant units and contribute to their redesign and redevelopment where appropriate.
