About the Role
The Senior Commercialisation Manager is an important position in the Biopharma team of QMI, playing a significant role in initiating and maintaining an effective commercialisation strategy for opportunities principally from the Barts and London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
The post-holder will contribute to the delivery of a range of outputs including technology disclosures, protection of university IP, licence and investment transactions, and new venture formation.
Reporting to the Associate Commercialisation Director at QMI, you will contribute to fulfilling our goals.
The post is mainly based in Whitechapel, London (with the opportunity to work remotely for some of the time) and is a full time appointment.
About You
You will have a strong background in medical or life sciences with a PhD or business qualification. You will have knowledge of translational pathways and an understanding of technology transfer in higher education, or equivalent experience in the private sector together with a proven record of deal making and spinout formation. You will also have excellent communication and project management skills.
