This is an exciting role designing and delivering development for research/academic staff to enhance their skills and capabilities. You will also manage and monitor the University's Concordat Action Plan. You will work collaboratively to support and enhance the staff research development experience.
FTE: 1.0 (35 hours per week)
Term: Fixed term (until 15 May 2026)
The Researcher Development Officer will design and deliver professional development activities for research and academic staff to enhance their skills and capabilities, supporting their career progression, academic success and promoting a positive and inclusive research culture. You will also manage the implementation and monitoring of the Researcher Development Concordat action plan and Research Culture activities, including developing approaches to deliver and monitor activity, reporting on progress and data analysis.
This role involves close collaboration with staff across the university at a range of levels of seniority and requires a strong understanding of the Higher Education research environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
