We are seeking an experienced research grant costing professional, knowledgeable in applications to a range of funders and able to ensure that bids are submitted efficiently, costed and priced to support financial sustainability and compliance.
FTE: 1.0 (35 hours per week)
Term: Fixed (26 months)
The University of Strathclyde is a leading international technological university, focused on delivering excellent teaching and world-class research and known for forging strong collaborative links with industry, government, business and the third sector.
Based in Research and Knowledge Exchange Services, this role forms part of the Grants and Contracts Service and will provide specialist expertise and support to the University’s applications for external research grant funding.
You will be familiar with the Full Economic Costing of Research in Higher Education and a range of sources of research grant funding and their application processes and systems.
You will have a track record in providing fast, efficient and effective advice and pre-award grant administration.
You will have excellent communication skills, a strong collaborative ethos and be comfortable managing a busy workload and delivering to deadlines.
