The NMIS Industrial Doctorate Centre Manager role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation and research in advanced manufacturing, playing a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the NMIS doctoral centre and driving forward our mission to advance manufacturing skills, knowledge and impact.

The National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) is seeking an experienced Industrial Doctorate Centre Manager to lead the expansion and growth of our well-established doctoral centre, aligning with our strategic goals and key sectors. Based within the Manufacturing Skills Academy (MSA) at NMIS Netherton, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the current 0.5 FTE Industrial Doctoral Centre Manager, with a primary focus on expanding our network of partners and securing additional funding. The successful candidate will forge strong partnerships with industry leaders, academic and research institutions, and NMIS specialist centres, including the Digital Factory, Lightweight Manufacturing Centre, Advanced Forming Research Centre, and Digital Process Manufacturing Centre, showcasing the significant impact and successes of the NMIS industry doctorate centre.
